When I turned the wall on it was almost jucifer loud. It was a full body message, vision blurring. So immensely heavy. The chunk was nuts. A few friends were outside and they told me you could hear it clear as day 100ft outside the warehouse. Only played it for like 10mins fearing someone would call the fuzz.

so i want to know how you pulled this off. what was your total impedence load??

i always thought you couldnt just go willy nilly daisy-chaining amp to amp and cab to cab without being mindful of the load?

One of the reasons I don't use a tube head and stick to tanks like SS Peaveys, you can throw them literally or throw anything at them and theyll work. I'd break a tube head...


The Vulcan (far left) has the normal 18 and then folded 18, 4 ohm load total, and is on its own side of a aby switch. The tan peavey is running the slanted 412 and the 212 underneath the 412, at 2 ohms. The PA200 is running the supernova oversized 212 on top at 4 ohms, and is daisy chained from the tan peavey. The acoustic slave is on the booster out of the tan peavey and is running the two vertical 412s at 4 ohms and the 15 at 8 ohms for a total of 2.6 ohms. Its a bit noisy, but that doesn't matter when your smashing them all with a rat into a muff. DEAR LORD, SOOOO HEAVY!!

On a different topic, is there an easy way to temporarily fix a nut that has been filed down too much? I was thinking of filling it with a bit of superglue....

If you look on YouTube you'll find tutorials for mixing super glue and baking soda together to fill in a nut slot. I did it once and I didn't really notice anything to complain about tone wise. I can't speak for the longevity though.

Thanks for the suggestion of covering the microphone of a zoom for recording practice. Definitely not studioquality, but light years better then before. Two thumbs up on that one.:bassist:
