Hahaha. I'm glad you like your Bassic, but I knew you would. Now just imagine 1000 watts going through essentially two of those cabs
PS I left the show after Kvelertak and Torche played cause I didn't feel like watching Converge. I'm that cool.
Too much talk not enough doing.
I don't mind that they weren't killing the whole time, but I wish there was more going on. The season had it's moments, but it was purely dialog it seemed like. Just seeing more chores or setting up defenses, daily activities of the apocalypse would make it more interesting.
Of course it was all already written so what can you do.
The second season sucked, until, literally, the exact second they played some Clutch. It was pretty good after that.

I was really looking for an update on Converge
New Kvelertak tracks were awesome. Little more bluesy stoner rock style but still really aggressive.
The kids getting lost was dumb, but at least brought something to the table.
I think they just did a poor job turning the comic into a film format in the 2nd season, and left a lot of menial action out that would at least added more to the dialog scenes than just watching them sit in deck chairs around the RV and argue.
It can only get better because now Rick has seen that
A. Zombies are dangerous
B. Strangers are dangerous
C. friends can be dangerous
Now that he's knows this apocalypse is ****** and he isn't in Mayberry, he'll be less mopey and the show will pickup with less hesitations and whining since Dale the RV guy got chewed up.
Yeah, and they're finally at the prison. My wife was telling me that they severely cut the budget for the second season and that's why they wrote a lot of the zombie scenes out, fvcking politics.
Makes sense, this show will always be like that, popular but not popular enough to merit a huge budget, and it's a show that demands a big budget.

Yeah they cut out frank (darabont)? And the show suffered. They thought it wouldn't catch on but it did. I've been a zombie movie lover since I seen night of the living dead some 15+ years ago. I got so into the zombie thing that I tried to write a short story. When that short story ended up being dawn of the dead it tuned into my favorite movie and I've never looked back. I won't talk about how Zombie are trendy because I love the whole idea so much that I'm glad it rivals the vampire werwolf thing.
It wasn't so much that they cut Darabont out, but that he walked away when they insisted on giving him a tiny budget and forced the second season of the show to be based around a single location (much much cheaper). Lots of inside shots as well.
Overall, I didn't hate the second season, but it really left a lot to be desired compared to the comic book and even the first season of the show. This next part of the story has a lot going for it, which I think will make for some excellent TV.
