Oh yea for sure, it's crazy for what it is, but I wanted to build a rangemaster, one $8 component seems less crazy, than if it required like four of them.

What's the rest of the parts cost like $30?

Is small bear also good for stomp switches? I only found a few places locally that sell them, and they are very expensive/weak/wrong or all of the above.

for a pcb version or a turret version or terminal strip version

terminal strip would be cheapest but parts + shipping to you will probably be around 50 bucks i assume

Yes because i technically all ready have one... (it's a switchable clean boost / 250hz boost, meant for my passive bass)

But with the EMG pickups it was too much on bass so i put it on the guitar board as a line booster / buffer at the end of the chain and it worked amazingly.

i think you mean 200-300 hz. if you wanna just boost that frequency you can do 2 things,

LPF + HPF to get rid of frequencies outside of there to some degree or a Bandpass filter which uses inductor + cap to get rid of frequencies outside of the band.
