I always wanted to see a gut shot of a fuzz factory, there's so many knobs on such a tiny pedal.
Dunno if malekko has any bass worthy pedals but they are tiny.

I always wanted to see a gut shot of a fuzz factory, there's so many knobs on such a tiny pedal.
Dunno if malekko has any bass worthy pedals but they are tiny.
Just about anything by Kyuss or Sleep
I love the basslines to Whitewater and Asteroid,and Dragonaut by Sleep is pretty groovey.Most of their stuff off holy mountain is based around minor/pentatonic patterns,so it's pretty straightforward
Still haven't got around learning the fast part of dragonaut, although now that I got the vinyl (yay!) I will probably spend so much time listening to it I will just figure it out by the end of the weekend.So yeah, sleep is sure nice to start from, some very easy parts that allow you to experiment with your pedals as well.
Also guys I was thinking it is finally time for me to buy a power supply. Mind you I don't have that many pedals yet but I was thinking a good power supply will be a good starting point for a pedal board. It has become boring unplugging everything as to not waste the battery
What brands do you guys suggest? I was looking into voodoo lab (with the above mindset of not having to worry for a power supply for the next few years and focus on new pedals
) and especially the smaller ISO-5. Anything a bit cheaper but still reliable I could look into?

$30,1 spot power supply with a daisy chain works fine for me.There's a few others who make something really similar,probably works jsut the same.
But definitely learn Dragonaut.That's like the Stariway to Heaven of doom metal bass.

When my gf got me a Pedal Power 2 Plus I thought it was overkill at the time, but now I'm really glad I have it. Its a good investment that you'll use for years and never think about again after you've hooked everything up. Solid, reliable clean power to your pedals is very nice.
How much did it cost?
With my current adapters, I keep getting the radio if my wah is plugged in.

If your only powering 5 pedals or less and none of them are high current draw or 12v-18v the T-rex fuel tank jr. is a really good option, and can usually be found used in the 60$ range, I personally use an iso-5 on my bass pedalboard and love it. I like having a three prong power chord and 18v options, but that stuff may be trivial to you.

Hmm, it is true that a good power supply can't go wrong, so I will look into it a bit more. My main concern is that there are different models for europe and the US which means I have to buy from overpriced local stores that usually directly translate dollars to pounds/euros. Buying from an american store can be almost half price...
