Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread Part 11 - "Bath Time"

2nd jam with the Walkabout tonight. Sounded really good. Notes on the D and G strings sound a little thin but other than that I was quite happy with it.

The Bluebeard sounds great with the WA as well, and the Oxfuzz Bass into the Bluebeard was a great combination too, highly recommended.

Been really enjoying the Dark Driving lately too and I think my OSD is here, just need to pick it up from the post office tomorrow. I'm thinking I'm going to test out the OSD at our show tomorrow night. Should be a fun long weekend!

Change-jug, I'd get a matching NON-slant 410 PRO, I never have like the look of slanted cabs, that's just my opinion though.

Practice tonight was great, I'm definitely going back to the Peavey. I really need to re-tolex it now, going with a bright red. Tonight was also the first time I used the Peavey with the Colossus, when I kick it on it ROARS!!! :bassist: Now only if I get that second Sunn Beta 205...MWAHAHAHA!!!

To be honest, with the tone I had tonight, I don't feel any GAS for anything else...for this style of music, I could use a fretted P bass and I want a combo, been looking real hard at a Fender Bassman TV Fifteen.

Using the WA at the show?
