On the subject of More Speakers= More Awesome I need some advice and I`m sure you fine dudes can help me. Even tho I don`t "need" it,I`d like to get second cab(well third cab if you count my old Fender 115.). My rig now as it stands is a Fender 300 Pro head and a Fender 410 Pro cab. I`ve had the cab for a few years and finally got my first tube head(the 300 pro) about a month ago. It`s super loud. I`m totally happy with it. It`s more than I need. I`m not in a band right now and playing with my mates is on hold due to a new baby(not mine).
Having said that,I`d like to get either choice 1) another Fender 410 Pro(slant cab) to make a full matched stack,
or choice 2) a Fender 215 Pro. I`d like a matching rig but I won`t ignore a non Fender 215 as an possibility. I should mention that my old 115 makes weird pops and crackles once in awhile,so buying another 115 and stacking isn`t an option.
I`d really like to try out a good 215,hence me wanting the 215 Pro but after being on TB for a bit one thing I`ve learned is that you`re not being as efficient as possible if you mix & match cabs(although that`s up for debate by some). So I don`t think I`d end up using my 410 with my 215(if I get one) at the same time. I would however use both 410 cabs as a sweet stack. Ideally,I`d like to play through a bunch of speakers at once.
So,any thoughts, opinions or ideas on my best route for my future Doom rig?
