Happy birthday! If the kids stress you out too much, try imagining them as kittens and their incessant screaming as chirpy meows.

OOOooooohhhhh NOooooooooo. Downtuning makes the neck Waaaaaaarrrrrpppppp. :hiding: Only tuning to standard keeps the nnnneeeeeeecccckkkkk straight. :p

Does anyone here play a thunderbird? Never liked the sound or the thin neck.

I have an epi t-bird. I like it, the neck isn't super thin, but I've been playing a Warlock with shredder neck since age 15 so my perspective might be skewed a bit.

It neck-dives like a mother****er, but I'm used to that (warlock). It's got some nice humbuckers in it, sounds great w/ fuzz or distortion. Unfortunately it has issues and is currently unplayable.

So yeah, not exactly a glowing review. If it didn't have the neck and truss rod issues I'd love it. I think I just got a lemon, unfortunately.

I actually have an irrational fear of amputees I'm trying to lessen.
None the less seeing people get rebuilt is crazy.

My girlfriend lives on the east side of Austin where, like everyone seems to be an amputee, it's like Afghanistan, but diabetes instead of landmines.


On a happy note, Happy Birthday Blender.

Also, anyone want dibs on this sweet vintage gear?

The Epoch guitars were made by Baldwin piano (almost 100% positive on this.). They were about $100 new with lame amp and lame accessory kit. Worth $35. Might be a good mod platform. Play it first, make sure it is atleast playable.
