Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread Part 28: Chicken Pot Pie

Yeah, being hurt has made me really miss playing, and I'm not even in a band anymore.

But it's one of those things where you just can't do anything about it, so I'm on a "leisure quest" to find another hobby.

Edit: hey maybe I can be dunwich's pedal thrall!

Feel bad for you guys who have physical problems playing bass. I've always wondered what type of mental anguish I'd experience if something happened to me where I couldn't play any more. Playing live is one of the most fun things I've ever experienced.

Its especially painful for me mentally because I've been in a gigging band for 4 years straight until now. It's brutal, but if we get the house that we're looking at, I'll have workshop space again and the money to work on basses / guitars which will help some.

not for 3800 im not. matts prices are **** 99% of the time. BUT DONT THINK I HAVENT THOUGHT ABOUT IT!

you ever plug into it? if you ever wanna go and rock that thing let me know and ill be there.

Yeah sometimes his prices are through the roof, but at the same time i've seen some reasonably priced vintage gibsons and stuff in there, depends on what he has in it i suppose. I've thought about rocking it out as well and seeing what it's made out of, but not with a 3800$ price tag, i'd be afraid of breaking it or a cap exploding while I'm playing. Plus I got my own 200watt custom built head for way way less then that.
