i had two V6Bs with a V4 running into it, all stock speakers. when that V4 was working and fuzz was a runnin, it was pure boobies in a can. great 215 cabs.

Pretty sure the majority of TB isn't slamming their rigs with fuzz and massive volume. That's why we're in this thread.
Well, pulled the crossover out of the dead cab and I see no issues. I meant to take a picture of how I have everything wired up but that bottle of Canadian Club was calling my name. Need to take apart the rear jacks to see if maybe I wired something wrong or used too thin of wire. So far it appears the only issue is with the 12" driver, so maybe it was a lemon and couldnt take the heat? Then again I have been playing this stack for about a year now, maybe it just died. Ho hum.
The Hartke was running smoothly through the 2x15, so I'm taking that to practice next time.
I have this beat old Peavey 1x18 cab with a crossover to output the highs to another cab... if I can get this 4x12 guitar cab fixed up, I could build a 4x12 + 1x18 stack with some bi-amped flavor. Have no idea what it'd sound like.
I may end up trying to just sell the fEARfuls for whatever I can get and put that cash into another 2x15, do the Weedeater thing
Max what was that website that we were getting cheap-ass drivers from? It was a 3 letter word thats escaping me now
Despite the fact I was experiencing MECHANICAL ERRORS in my rig, the most popular suggestion from the TB majority was simply to turn down. I was half waiting for someone to say "Jaco never needed a 1000 watt rig"
I'm glad things worked out the way they did, this is what we expected to happen. Part of me thinks I should have kept my big mouth shut and let this all happen naturally.
But in the end I'm glad that I did. I could have been nicer about it, but I'm glad I didn't just let him walk over myself and our drummer. Drummer was too nice to be confrontational about it, but I know he was pissed off big time. I was able to assert our position and let guitar player know that we won't be pushed around. So I guess in this case my big mouth and dickish tendencies were a force for good. I'll try not to let it go to my head.

if youre gonna go with 215s id suggest any of the old acoustic/sunn/ampeg cabs. Peavey made some sweet boxes but im not a fan of their speakers (their 218/210 cab is so epic, wish i had mine back). or you can man up do a 415 either the 408 or the sunn version which is very similar.
