Saw a transmanlady at the wal Mart. It was using a paper ketchup cup to drink sprite in tiny amounts for free at the McDonalds.

My selfie cam private eye shots are spot on huh? He kinda looks like Doug stanhope

Theres quite a few of these types and even more wierder that come into the gas station, but no real way of ninja photo capturing them.

But to list a few semi regular irregualars...
-Crazy conspiracy mcdonalds lady (this lady wears the biggest puffiest purple coat ALL YEAR ROUND and updates me on the turrible turrible things the aliens and obama bin ladin, what she calls him, are up too)
-Mustache cat lady (this old ladies white patchy mustache literally curls into her mouth)
-"white face" black lady
- methed up the back to the future lotto guy

We had to put a sign that says no public restrooms because I work right down the street from a free range nut house. One of the guys walks around Main Street eating a whole pound cake and drinking a two liter bottle of soda. When his meal hits bottom he likes to use any bathroom he is by at the time. I called him the Mad Pooper. Well he ripped the bathroom grab handle loose the last time he stopped by so we had to change the bathroom policy.

I used to work at IKEA and one time this 6'9" black guy in a little black dress tried to steal $1000 worth of mirrors... I guess know one ever taught him the concept of "low profile".

At dominos pizza there was an old lady who ordered a cheese pizza every single day and acted like it was the first time ordering pizza each time. "Oh thin crust? Sounds interesting? Toppings? Oh honey the pizza itself is enough!"

I had a little old lady tell me to go cluck myself at a Hess gas station I worked at. Well I thought that was just awesome and couldn't control my laughter which made her worse mad. Of course this happened on Main Street in beautiful Scranton Pennsylvania.

It's been a long time since I worked retail, but we used to get some weirdos at the pet shop - worst was the batsh*t crazy guinea pig breeder. Despite her lack of basic hygiene, odd fashion sense, long, LONG rambling diatribes about the government, her animals were always completely healthy, clean, vaccinated, well-fed and tame. So we continued to buy her guinea pigs.

When I had the record store job we'd get a seriously drunk guy in 2-3 times a week. Always first thing in the morning, he'd be waiting outside, reeking of liquor. Gruff and drunk but mostly polite, he'd spend several hundred dollars at a time on CDs and Vinyl. After a while he opened up a bit, turned out he was a Emergency Room doctor. He'd finish his godawful long shift at 6:00 AM, have a few drinks at home then cab or bike it over to the record store. Nice guy, felt bad for assuming he was just some terminal alcoholic.

I used to work at a Subway sammich place (yes, I was an artist) in Sedona, AZ many years back. One of our regular customers was this haggard looking lady and her autistic son. She would order a sammich for her son. While you were making it he would quietly start rocking back and forth and chanting "more...olives....more olives...." until finally he just came unhinged and would be screaming "MMMMOOOORE OOOOOLIVES!!! MOOOOOORRRRE OOOOLIVVVVVESS!!"

Happened every time, regardless of how many olives you put on the little fugger's sammich, and I never heard him utter a single other word than "more" and "olives."

I like olives, but hey now.

Wouldn't you love to be that happy/excited about something though? Once you go crazy you don't got a friggin care in the world. My little guy got so excited when he read the menu at a BBQ joint because they actually typed sammiches for the sandwiches section.

this old man left his repaired lawnmower at kmart for the winter, because he didn't need to use it in pittsburgh when the weather turned nasty
of course he was none to happy when we told him his lawnmower got tossed to make room for all the xmas merchandise, not sure how the manager
handled this, but it was getting pretty irrational when my shift ended

Hey dudes.

Spent Saturday AM restringing and setting up the Blacktop P and tweaked some knobs on the Carvin - Finally have an AMAZING full, clean tone with just a hair of grind. Haven't really been happy with my clean tone in forever and have just been hiding behind my fuzz/OD pedals. Now that I have this awesome clean, I can't seem to get my fuzz/OD sounding right! lol. It's worth the sacrifice as my clean is boobies and more boobies.

Had our first "sober" practice this past Sunday. 3 years of playing and the guitarist and I still like to act like shitheads, but we decided to play "sober", (read: lotsa greens) and we finally finished a song we've been working on forever. This may actually work for us! haha, we've been slow moving for a while, so this may just be what we need.

Will be fun to play the new song in a couple weeks when we open for Brothers of a Sonic Cloth. Pretty stoked.

Got my TB1000 back from Orange, needs to go up for sale if anyone is interested. TB disc apply.

A band hit me up about jamming with them, based off my "bassist looking for doom/stoner/sludge" ad up on CL. They're one of those "Occult Rock/Metal" bands with super clean, clangy guitar tones and a female singer doing a King Diamond impression. I honestly wanted to tear my ears off my head listening to their demos, trying to find a polite way to decline.
