finally met with the guitarist i work with and we are working on the music concept to go with the new paintings and photos
the audio component of the project will be a completely clean 30 minute instrumental performance played and recorded in the gallery and then the listeners will mix the record themselves, one side forwards, one side backwards adding effects as they wish

Just bought a guitar from craigslist for super cheap. $25! Guy said it didn't work, and didn't want to bother. The electronics look good, but it's definitely missing the input jack. Is it difficult to put one in? It looks like I'd just solder the ground or something to it. I don't know. It has 2 loose wires, and the entire input jack is gone, but other than that, it looks mint. Seems like an easy fix for me! What do you guys think? Just buy one and stick it in there?

Oh, and here's the link to the guitar. Gets great reviews! And as a 2nd guitar for a bassist, I wasn't spending a whole lot on it, so it sounds like it should really be pretty good for me!

Could be worse... you could have to sit through a nsync concert clockwork orange style.

I had never heard of them, so I took a quick youtube listen. This is the first track that came up. Could be a LOT worse.

Nice score. Jacks are super simple to solder, just keep your hot and ground wires straight.

Output jacks are an easy fix. I'd take it if you want it. A new jack (if it needs it) is like 3-4 bucks for those barrel style output jacks and about 15 minutes of time including solder iron heat up time. Super easy. If you need help I'd be happy to assist you.

I got nothing today. We're both in STL, what say a meetup is in order? Never met a fellow TB'er before, it'd be cool. What say you? And thanks for the assistance!

Oh and it needs a new jack. It's gone. As in missing. Can't plug my cable into wood!

Valley has a show tomorrow night at Fubar. Opening for Noisem. A meetup is definitely in order. Patrick (ender_rpm) and I have met a few times at my shows. Cool guys in the STL chapter of the TB S/D community! I'd be happy to help with the guitar though, save you some money or time or whatever. I like to fix **** and have a buncha free time in the middle of the day when I am not asleep.
