Speaking of pets... That puppy got free care donated by a local vet. Tail fixed with laser treatment. Dewormed. On antibiotics. Given puppy shots. One of the two dozen people that offered to, have adopted her. Some faith in humanity has been restored.

Ooh, I am. The trailer looked killer and I'm ready for a cool new Godzilla movie where Godzilla actually fights other monsters. The 90's one blew, it was totally tone deaf to everything that made the old ones cool. I used to watch them on cable at my grandparent's house when I was a kid.

There's something about force-of-nature/monster/disaster movies that just gets my goat. They don't even have to be great, but at least competently made. You're right that the 90s one blew. I think I saw that one on a date night in middle school or high school.
