After a couple of good rips, and with some Snowcaps.Godzilla at a drive-in sounds unbeatable.
Dude! Just think how much cooler that is!!you know what the sad truth probably is? that guy thinks his avator pic is actually les claypool, when in fact its just you lol.
Awesome. Funny when you are young how you will get busy with a chick with your buddies hanging out in the same car! I started using the term front-seaters for tiny hotties because of my 96 pound high school girlfriend, no need to jump in the back seat at the drive-in if you had a front-seater with you.I lost my virginity at the drive-in. Was on a triple date with my brother, a good friend, and these 3 girls we picked up at the mall. The movie was the original Night of The Living Dead. I was in the middle seat of a big old Dodge station wagon.

Hmm, I may have identified an arbitrage opportunity. A local dude has an Epi Ripper for sale on CL. He wants $300 or an acoustic/electric bass for trade. I'm going to scope the Epi out and see if I like the neck & weight. If that pans out and I wish to acquire it, I'd be interested in upgrading the pups down the road.
Another dude on local CL has an Ibanez acoustic/electric bass for sale for $249. So, if I can't work the guy down on price for the Epi ($200-240?) I may be able to see if he'd take that Ibanez straight up, then I could try to work that guy down from his Ibanez sale price.
Of course this is all totally not worth the time and effort.
I've been reading too many askrere posts.![]()
Definitely too man askrere posts.
Sometimes I think about getting into flipping but sometimes it just sounds exhausting. I've already got a job, a band, hobbies and household work to do....
I'm behind on my gossip, I guess.
Just read FM post about flakes and whatnot. Sounds juicy/messy... But hey, Vega is blowing up!
We are more than likely opening the Black Pussy/Mothership show. Should be cool. The Mothership guys are rad.
My friend and me are gonna drop $300 and start a farmers market booth. Lol ours is full of fat walleted people and terrible booths with no business sense. We're gonna Sanford and Son up that place with a terrible junk yard/music gear/used clothing/juice?/etc.?? Booth.
Yeah, guitarist called me a flaky lying azzhole. When he's the one that doesn't show up for practice, owes us months of rent, among many other things. So I'm telling him to take a hike at the truckfighters show tonight. I'm done dealing with his shvt.
Talk about projection. Jeez.Yeah, guitarist called me a flaky lying azzhole. When he's the one that doesn't show up for practice, owes us months of rent, among many other things. So I'm telling him to take a hike at the truckfighters show tonight. I'm done dealing with his shvt.
I think he's unbeatable anywhere.
You're making me so proud! Post the craigslist ad for the acoustic to him directly or just a picture so he gets the idea, and doesn't contact that guy himself first, he thinks it's you!
Wife too! But seriously you fix pedals, get better, and flip them as you fix them.
I do make money, but it's a great way to try gear. I don't get wicked gas that I act on, so I just sit until I see cheap ads and pounce. Most I didn't really want but I can learn about it, clean it, play it and meet people. In the end it's like I'm my own hyper specialized pawn stars (I just don't weight 600 pounds and wear gold chains).

I was sold at "juice."
You wanna hear drama.
The thing that kinda makes in complicated is that we were supposed to play Days of the DOOMED next month, but we haven't practiced in 3 months, because someone has shvt always going on in his life, I feel bad for the guy for some of it that is out of his control, but he really needs to slow down and get his heading for a trainwreck life back under control. We have 2 songs half written, we would be no where ready to play this gig, and I'm not going to make a fool of myself or the music we've written because we were not prepared at this level of a show, so I suggested back out of the gig, he then called me a flaky lying azzhole, and blamed me and the drummer for everything, when were the one that is there every Monday for our weekly scheduled practice, pay rent, I have stuck my neck and wallet out for this guy... He causes unneeded stress in my life. He can take his band with him, and I wish him the best, cause he can write good music. We shall see who the heaviest is in the end.
Ah that feels better
