Yea lol need to put it back together, I have like a super unbusy day, but feeling lazy beyond belief.
Put bass together, move gear so i can get my dually in my place, go to school to ask a payment question, walk 4-8 miles.
Yep. I just unzipped the download folder and dropped it on my phone. Pretty sure its the FLAC too.
Whachu got to trade? I mostly just need materials for building stuff.
I'm getting offers on it, but everyone is lowballing. One just like this, with half the knobs missing and no head shell went for $300 shipped 3 years ago, how about that? lol I didn't think I was being unreasonable when I checked the going rate shipped and priced it accordingly. I'm getting more annoyed by it because I'm already depressed as f*ck this week.
Just hold onto it for a bit and re-list later, unless you need the coin asap, that is.
I don't, at all. I've got a nice chunk of change saved up from gear sales lately, just spring cleaning. Just boggles my mind a bit, as everyone online seems to be sh*tting their pants over the Beta stuff, but no one is buying. I sold my Fender Princeton Reissue combo in a day for over my bottom dollar amount, sold my Ampeg 410HLF for asking price in a day, sold my SG in 2 days for the asking price. Sunn Beta stuff is seemingly appreciating in value over time, mine's in like new condition...nada. Ignore me, I'm in a super bad mood today and it has nothing to do with the amp.
Man, I almost bought a Ric on here last week and now I just found out my car needs like $600+ to pass inspection. Glad I didn't pull the trigger...
I would for $400, plus the cost of shipping/customs/import/whatever charges. I don't have a problem with shipping, I've shipped stuff to Australia before. I just won't eat the cost of it.
So on record store day I found a deal on a CD that has the two major releases from the 70s band Bang!. Holy balls, it's good. I seek out a lot of proto-doom/metal bands and a lot of them are just ok, but these two albums from Bang! are really goddamn good. Almost on the level of the 70's era Pentagram stuff. It's been on repeat in the car pretty much constantly since I got it.
Anyway, here's the first album on the double CD. I think the second one is a little better than this but can't find it on the youtoobs.

To hell with the bass vi getting put back together. I just took it down to nothing. Gonna take it home and have it fitted with threaded inserts for the neck and pickup screws and anything else that could stand to use them. New pickups are in order as well so the entire systems gutted, and only the neck, body, pickguard, switch and jack plate will remain.

How you feel about it this much later? What do think about it with different amps? Tube or solid state...
How long was build time and was it pay up front?

Had a hang with the guitar player I've been emailing back and forth with. Seems like a real cool laid back guy, into lots of bands I like, knew who Al Cisneros, Dixie Dave, and Bobby Liebling were, and liked the fact that I was familiar with the more heavy stuff. So, we're maybe jamming this weekend, we'll see how it goes.
