So I heard this pedal the other day on YouTube. It's just a wah pedal 35q or something but knobs instead so it's set and forget. it's super expensive due to being discontinued, the Kerry King is too.

Anyone know of a similar pedal? Or do I just have to get a broken wah and rehouse? The bad stone does this, but doesn't have a boost knob that I think is neccesary after hearing clips.

The 535Q? It's still in production, I have one, its quite flexible. Not enough low end for me to use on bass, but works great on guitar.

Edit: I was wrong, its the Q Zone. Doesn't seem like it'd be too hard to get a 535Q and rehouse it into a project box. Kind of a cool project, actually.

I called peavey yesterday to inquire about my power amp. I got the classic peavey response we all love, "if it fires up it can be fixed". The guy also assured me based on what I told him that it is probably just a broken solder joint. The AC cable wiggling out and cutting power wouldn't cause the issue I am describing. The guy was pretty cool. We BSed for several minutes about rigs, guitars and peavey cvlt.

The only downside is that the service center I was referred to has a 3-4week wait and they charge $75 per hour starting at the time of first testing. In other words I expect to pay $150 to get it fixed because can't imagine they won't stretch the bench time beyond an hour.

In other news, I ordered a joyo flanger and UD. Needed to get that OCD sound in my arsenal. I am also already thinking about rehousing the joyo flanger in a bigger box with a tremolo circuit, a clean blend and an order switcher footswitch.

Flanger and UD are both great. Flanger is on my guitar board, UD always make quick appearances, but never quite stays.

Fun indeed, but no matter how you cut it, your paying a premium for what should be a less expensive pedal.

Did some fuzz nerding tonight. Recorded my Sovtek Tall Font, DunnO))) Blackbeard and Magick Fuzz in succession. Used the DI out from my Fender Rumble 100 210 combo into Mac, though I wish I'd've put a mic on the cab, too, because the DI doesn't do a good job catching how massive of lows these fuzzes have. Next time I'll definitely do a mic + DI. Bass was my modified Squier P, BEAD tuning.

Order went Sovtek, then Blackbeard, then Magick with some clean in between to separate. I have some knob twiddling in there, too, to show off some of the frequency sweeps. Beware the massive volume spike when the Blackbeard goes to LED, then "none" modes. Big jump there from the silicon position.

So I moved my 4x10's pa columns to the storage unit temporRily and just moved them back and one was jostled and the front grill came off and two speakers were poked. Idk if that had occurred already or not, but what's a cheap effective 10" speaker? Guitar, vocals and bass vi maybe going through them. 4x10's must be 8 ohms each so I can do a full 4.

I'll need eight of them when I go to buy, as the others felt like tissue paper. They'll be played into the ground as is though for now.

Are you the guyI sold my Bluebeard to in a moment of weakness?

On that note does anyone know if Sonny is still making pedals? I sent him an email few days back but have had no reply?
