Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

So, tbz made a post where it wasn't clear if he was saying that Ampeg was (like Mesa) mainly a guitar amp company that also made some bass gear, or not. I pointed this out, and he started being a complete cockshït.

Looks like Chef deleted the posts, though.

His post was rather ambiguous considering he name dropped a company that focuses on bass gear(the biggest name in bass exclusive gear) and made some guitar gear... 25 years ago.

And the beta bass combo is a pending deal. Gotta love early risers calling me back at 6am because I mentioned I work overnights. It's got the original speaker with everything in working order and good condition except for some tolex rips on the backside.

Getting it for $200 and an avatar 115 that I have been trying to sell for literally 2 and a half years.

sounds good!
Are you the guyI sold my Bluebeard to in a moment of weakness?

On that note does anyone know if Sonny is still making pedals? I sent him an email few days back but have had no reply?

I think I have your old BB, it has the barbarian & orcs sticker on the inside if that helps ;)

BB's back on my MDT pedalboard and it ain't going anywhere. :bassist:

Askrere, I have access to one at work if there's something specific you want to know. Could maybe even record a quick and dirty demo if I can find the time this week.

Just how crazy can it get really. Reverse, halo and any settings that can go into cavernous evil. Going for Loveless and Neil young dead man tone and anything else I can achieve.

Demos would be cool, but I trust your verbal descriptions to save your time. Don't go too out of the way.

P.S. I hate you

Darn, I'm always kinda interested in what happens in these situations, but then the posts get deleted

Hung out with my best friend yesterday for the first time in a long while. Was excellent. Except that I learned that her plans to move to South Dakota with her boyfriend are a lot more definite than I had thought. And I'm kinda in love with her a bit.

Oh well.

Catapult the Dead has a show tonight at the DNA Lounge in SF with Name, Ion, and Inaeona. So that should be cool.
