Those are pretty sweet little amps, well worth the dough if you think you can fix it.
But can I write and record a full band playing a song about making babies and chili cheese fries on the blood moon in time?

Thoughts / experiences with EHX Micro POG, anyone? Anybody got one but would rather have a few $$?
Briefly checked out the classic and the other more metal one. Classic sounded killer, great blues/classic rock/classic metal tones. Lots of features, power scaling, dummy load, DI, etc. Well worth the meager price tag, IMO.Has anyone checked out the new peavy guitar mini heads? Getting a guitar 212 built by Dave at Gigmaster. Should be pretty light/loud, running a pair of [Invalid or Expired Link Removed], 1/2" aruco, cloth grill. Right now I will be running it with my VHT Special 6, but I am eye balling the Classic 20 MH.
I don't know, to be honest. But can I write and record a full band playing a song about making babies and chili cheese fries on the blood moon in time?

Aside from the stuck switch the other problems could be tube related. Probably an easy fix.
Guy seems like a nutbar though.
I was scrolling down and thought what the hell is up with the background to my pic....... wait its not my stuff, lol!!View attachment 695678
NAD. Went and picked up the Beta combo. Everything works and the speaker sounds good. The tolex in back isn't torn like I had thought, the adhesive is just losing strength. Also the pots have a mean scratch to them, but all in all nothing a little contact cleaner and spray glue can't fix. The amp has more noise than I anticipated. Not sure if that is normal for these or not. It's not obnoxious or wacky sounding, just audible when not playing but I am assuming that's pretty par for the course regarding 30+ year old SS amps.
The best part of the whole deal is that the seller made me a better offer than I made him. I originally offered $200 to his price of $300. I thought about it and felt that was to low, perhaps to low to be acknowledged and really $300 for a working beta is still a good deal, plus the combo. So I emailed him back offering $200 and my avatar 115 or $275. He called me and we made a deal for the avatar + cash. When I went to meet up with him, he basically asked me how I wanted to do this. Did I want to trade the cab and cash or give him $250 for the amp? It took me a second to process this and when I came to I was all about the $250 deal. I was prepared to take a loss on the 115 because I don't really need it, I haven't been able to sell it and I wanted the beta. Now I have both and came out on top with the beta deal. I'm stoked.
I have faith in your abilities. But can I write and record a full band playing a song about making babies and chili cheese fries on the blood moon in time?

It's been so long I don't even remember how I got that nickname but it was my nickname. I think it's cause I turn knobs so much. But a old friend of mine who works in a machine shop made a similar badge for his 412 Marshall. I had him make one for my svt and drilled it to use the same holes as the ampeg badge that was already on there.where'd you get the poop tone badge?

@Pelham Bleu wore my MDT t-shirt at the last show. Got lots of positive reactions.
