Very nice! I was at Guitar Center playing James Brown on an Epi Tbird Classic IV into a Terror Bass 500 over an Ampeg fridge and my girlfriend was all, you need one of them Orange's. I miss it, still waiting to hear back from the Orange repair shop...

Nah, this record is the RD's final performance. I didn't get the EGC in time, it came about 2 months after we were done tracking.

It was RD > Demon King, Volume Pedal > Moog 104M >(Duniwch DI) > Dunwich Mostly Harmless (ampeg side)/Carvin DCM3800 > Dually.

Low end taked from the DI, Mic covered the rest.

I gotta say I'm happy I bought that Dunwich DI from you. Even though I didn't use the DI part it really brought the clean low end to bring some clarity mixed in with velvety Vulcan. That and shameless fanboy, I used the same pedal as Bongripper on my bands album, therefore we are heavy.

Kids are cool like that. My daughter is on a spiderman kick right now. Not the cool semi recent show but the cheesy cartoon from 1980. Why don't more children's shows have disco dancing?

That's awesome. I listen to the Budos Band because they sound like the background music for Jonny Quest.

Could work with a good octave pedal.

Is that something people do? I'm not sure how to apply an octave effect, always thought they sounded a bit naff.

I use various octave effects if the mood strikes. Every now and then I'll get a hankerin' for my OC-2 and plop it on my board. It only sounds good on higher notes but gives it that synthy beefy low end. The Bass Whammy tracks better on lower notes than the OC-2, so if your rig can go hella low it's pretty cool. I also like the Meat Box to blast the poopie out of people occasionally.

I saw some videos where guys where using Whammy's as like a pseudo chorus pedal, like chorus without the warble, sounded pretty good. Kind of tempting me to pick up a Whammy.

It's got two chorus settings, "deep" and "shallow." It works pretty well as a chorus, only I run the BW after my CS-2 near the beginning of my chain. So, with the dirt on (and it's always on), it sounds too mushy having chorus (via BW) into dirt. At least that's my take.

Awesome, can't wait for the album to hit. I like the sonic journey of this song. It seems to hit on several of your last albums, heavy then moody, then heavy. I had to keep putting my bass down because even at the first listen I wanted to join in. Again, very awesome.

Nothing like working late on a Friday and getting a call announcing your in-laws have decided last minute that tonight would be a great night to spend some time with us.
