That sounds pretty killer with the bass boosted on a Strat.
Since we had our boy, it's like our house is black site for biological weapons testing. I've had the same head/chest cold cycling in intensity over the past month.

Rickenbacker lays a pretty heavy clear coat over their fingerboards. It might be epoxy, don't know honestly, but it's something I noticed right away with the 4003 I used to own. I never really had any opinions about it one way or the other though.

So that new Peavey amp "appears" to be becoming real. I suppose I lost the bet on that one by not preordering. Not really an issue seeing as how I don't "need" it, sure does look pretty though.

used the lb100 into the density hulk, it was brutal, the tiny bones inside my ears are still vibrating, ended up not even turning the mesa head up past one, just what i wanted, a completely clean octave down thick fingerstyle tone to use with the delay pedal, i might need a pedal board now, glad that there is a pedal board service on craigslist for folks who are effects challenged

Also ordered a terminal fuzz. Pedal board V4.0 is beginning.
I think, dare I say it, that my pedal board journey might be over? I'll probably reconfigure it for the sake of use, but I can say I really have no pedal GAS at all now. (For my bass board.)

from what i can tell the density hulk is a little more focused, tweakable, and less extreme sub than the meat box, but it still can do that shake your car late 90s early 2000s underground hip hop bass thing, which is really good, i've been kinda going conservative with it, because i don't want to blow the speakers in my orange cabs, but from about 20 feet away your getting some serious house shaking bass, also i am using my tube head, therefore i haven't been setting the level or sub at max, cause i'm trying to stay clean and not damage anything
