Any thoughts on the Peavey Windsor head? Keeping an eye out for a buddy who was looking for Peavey on the cheap. What do you guys think? Doom-worthy? Does it take pedals well? General experiences etc.? Anything's appreciated. Thanks.

Was ok on bass, never tried on guitar. Basically a 1 channel semi Marshall clone. I'd pay $150-$275 tops from what I've seen round here for the head. A $299 one has sat for over a year.

Yup. Retired but the damage has been done. I'm picking her up and taking her to inpatient rehab in the morning. For my daughters sake I hope it sticks this time. She has lost all privileges and access to her kids so hopefully that will get her to realize this is her last chance. I'm trying to be there for her, considering everyone else has deserted her, and I don't want to tell my daughter that her mom died because nobody gave a fvck.

Traded my Donner delay, eno rat and Joyo UD for a vox wah and a Joyo tremolo. Got the grey speck in the mail. Tomorrow AM trading micro terror for a TC helicon Harmony pedal for vocals. It's a flip, unless I like it I guess, but I need to get better at singing and playing. My voice changes I feel when I play, and isn't like my normal singing voice.
Too late, they're back occupied at work.
But I did manage to pick this up over lunch break.

I prefer the OG meatbox to the reissue though, admittedly, I need to spend more time with the reissue. Could be operator error but I'm having difficulty getting similar tones from the reissue.
Terminal Fuzz is pretty solid. Plenty of low end, works well in a band mix.

Thanks. Not magnetic, but it sounds real raunchy. Didn't have a chance to really put it through its paces yet given it got late before we got power restored, but even on low volume into the Sunns it sounds aggressive. Pick output difference between the toaster and horseshoe though, more than I expected.
Most notably the driving 4/4 beat described with the word "motorik." Neu! is the best example, but I'd suggest Halleluwah from CAN as a little more indicative of what as going on there, as well as just being an all around awesome song. Wear headphones.

If you speak to the cleaning staff around here, you may find they can work you a deal as good if not better to the preorder price.
Survived the four-gigs-in-eight-days barrage. Did two Heavycraft and two Milk Duct Tape. It's been interesting how playing in each band informs playing in the other, if that makes any sense. Definitely good for the creative juices.
There's a school of musical thought that says you should play a wide variety of genres, since all music influences all other music.
