Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

Finally got my second kappalite 3015 non LF in the mail, about to load up my 1981 Randall r215h which has three giant ports down the side, maybe the biggest I've ever seen lol, I found a second matching one in north Carolina craigslist postings but I don't think I'm ready just yet to buy another set of 600 dollar speakers, not to mention I'd like to think this thing will be louder than my Ampeg so I don't if I could possibly get anymore volume without killing my guitarists, they only have half stacks :(

While your at it, forward him the business card of your dentist. Dude needs some attention paid to those choppers.

That's gotta change....

If the porting is right, it might be. If it isnt, your power handling can be lowered a lot as the speaker unloads at low volume.
