Sort of crappy picture.. I'm running a Walnut 4003 into it and it is amazing. I got the Acoustic head for around 350$ and it's in pretty much perfect condition. It even came with the original vinyl (fake leather??) skin/case thing. Pretty happy so far!

Without knowing what the finishes are, I'd probably keep the P. Slightly more versatile. That's just my uninformed $0.02.
Keep the T-Bird. P-Basses never did anything much for me, and there are so many clones/copies/whatever you can find one no problem. T-Birds, while not uncommon, are less common than P-Basses. Plus, on a purely aesthetic level, I think they look cooler.
Yep. Meh, might keep both, put flatwounds on the P or something. I'm sure having 3 basses won't kill me.
Is the Greco one or two pickups?

Yea its a single, I prefer single pickup basses most of the time. I am a simple man. What do you mean by rewiring experiments? I was thinkong of just keeping on using the epi for doom, so I can have a bird in C and standard.
Buut, I could also use the money from selling the P or bird to get a new cab and/or refret the Greco. A frustrating choice, I really like all 3 basses.
Keep them. I have way too many basses but can only really fathom selling my Kramer. I have 4 other Ps and I wouldn't part with any. My fretless is a PJ and is currently in pieces, I have my first bass that was totally destroyed from ill conceived luthiery ideas and execution but I can't get rid of it out of nostalgia. The two others are my furies, one strung with flats in standard and the other with rounds in C standard. Options are good.
True. And I hate the hassle of selling things, I never end up satisfied. I'll just save up to find a cheap cab. Ashdown 6x10s go for $500 or less in Australia all the time.
On a side, weird note: Whenever I visit my family, I bring a bass and play it through the little 15 watt Fender Frontman amp that I leave there, and I absolutely love the tone. Just sounds throaty and amazing, I've never managed to find a bass amp that sounds like that. Maybe its cos I've never played a bass amp with a Fender tone stack, but apart from Fender amps (which cost an inordinate amount over here) I can't think of any amps that use it.
Hartke LH Series use the Fender tone stack. No idea what pricing is like in Australia, but they're pretty cheap in the US.
I used to have one of those little amps for practice too (until I blew it out). I don't think it's so much the tone stack, I've used other Fenders with the same setup, so much as the tony enclosure and speaker. No real bass on them, so you're just getting this, as you said, throaty honk. Like a goose.

Never heard of them, but it's hard to beat the price if they're intact and all the rims/lugs are in usable condition.
One of the things that really didnt work for me with my Z1 was that the pick ups were wired in parallel with a pan knob. Just doesnt work for the sound I want most of the time. Pick ups in series is where its at.
I have a switch in the form of a push/pull pot. Pull is for parallel. I use it when there's like a quiet part or something, where I don't want the bass sound to tear people's faces off.
The quiet parts of songs that serve to highlight how loud the loud parts are. Catapult has a lot of them."Quiet" part? Whazzat?
You mean like, the quiet between songs, right?
