got the ibanez ddl digital delay from future music yesterday in highland park, the thing sounded really sweet with an aerodyne pj strung with flats
it wasn't overly dark and it didn't sound like an mp3 either
still sick kinda fluish, weak voice, and general malaise
lotta flaking this weekend, no desert trip, no bikini shots, and no inglewood jamming
might try to go see thom to get some chords and or progressions down for new drones or i might get a refurbished mac so i can work on my music and art again at the house

I'm new to bass and I took my white face Rat off my guitar board to use it with the bass and it is not exacly what I'm looking for. There's too much bass lost when engaging.

Lately I've been using a combination of a wren and cuff supa phat phuck, fuzzrocious demon king, and arc effects big green. Super thick with the big green on. No loss of low end here.

if you want to stay in the rat family then the Dunwich Volt Thrower.

Volt thrower is pretty much my go to. I own i think the first production volt thrower and one of the new 125bs. A volt thrower through a meatsmoke is pretty much my signature tone.

I have a megalith. Its absolutely massive. You can really feel when it kicks in.

Supercollider is also on my board in place of the big green from time to time. Such a bad ass pedal

have any of you guys used the la bella nickel rounds or the new dunlop flats
i'm going to try extending the life of the frets on the lynx as long as possible by putting the flats on it, but i'm wondering about the la bella rounds (which were a gift) for the LB100 and the L2000

Not quite the same, but I had La Bella nickel rounds on my Bass VI, custom sized set. They were quite nice, bright but warm. However, I'm now replacing them with the standard Fender set, as I played a Squire Bass VI with them on and preferred the tension and playability.

And on the bass front, I've been catching up on writing some non-doom metal. Gotta say, much as I got used to drop C, playing in Eb always feels like home to me.
