I was scared my old Mag115 would not keep up but damn the Abm EvoII RC drove it great, the Fairfield Barbershop did its job at making the sound more organic with slight distortion, and when I engaged the Swollen Pickle it flipped people over.

I actually go the simple route and record with my phone. Got an app that's a garage band knock off and just hit record. Sound quality is actually surprisingly good, however you need to be careful about the resonant frequency of whatever you set it on. A towel works wonders though. Though in the end I only record for record keeping purposes during jams and learning new songs, etc.

The Rusty Box only has one output, so I can't DI and run my amp from it at the same time. :(

Edit: It's more complex than that of course, but I don't think I can really use the line-out into the instrument input of my AD200...

It has 2 outs (main- which uses the volume control, and line - which is full volume but still uses the input gain control).
You can run the line out into anything then use the main as a DI.
I run the line out into the fx return (bypassing the amps preamp) and can then contrail the volume with the amps master. I feel that gives you the most acruate sound rather than running it threw another preamp.

And I want a AD200

I think it works perfect for you as you're bypassing the preamp in your head. In my case I don't want to, as I use the gain in the head. The output from the line-out is not controllable in level from the RB and should be too hot for the input of the AD200. It could still work for me if I split the signal before running into the RB.

Both are deceptively loud. The F212 easily will cover all but the loudest gigs. The guitar rig is just a 212, but the speakers are more efficient than a Marshall 412, and the Peavey MX is a beast!

Hey guyz, what are your high gain blasting distortion of choice?

I'm new to bass and I took my white face Rat off my guitar board to use it with the bass and it is not exacly what I'm looking for. There's too much bass lost when engaging.
