Well, the UD was definitely an anomaly. Bought an OD Glove used for cheap today, and it functions perfectly. Also, a bit clearer, so win win for me.
On the downside, I still have 2 unused power plugs on my 1Spot. Suggestions to fill those up? Currently my dirt needs are filled, as is delay and boost. Thinking something odd, though I also love envelope filter. I have phaser, chorus, flanger, and vibrato available, but am open to different flavors of any of them. Also intrigued by a ring mod (Gonkulator reissue, specifically, as I love DOD).
So what weird tone would you put in there to fill up those plugs?

I'm just trying to find 1 that can play worth a poopie. I'm trying to start a doom band, but Detroit isn't exactly a doom hotbed. I've had a few replies. But, they've all said 'I'm not really a lead player'. Wth? I want a power trio format so yeah, solos.
Power trio is the way to go if you can get it, always been my preference. Winnipeg isnt exactly Doomland either witch is surprising since its so damned gloomy here, have patience and you'll be hooked up eventually. I had an ad in the local's for about 14 months before I finally connected with people familiar to the genre.
Electro Harmonix Mel9. Mellotron sim. Never used one but there's some cool youtube vids with bass. Sounds really good. Seems to track well too
Well, it's fixed now, but the guy who wanted the 320 head doesn't anymore, so that's up for grabs as well as the 301 cab. So I've got 3 pretty awesome bass heads for sale now, get at me you fuggers so I can go get that SVT 
Not to my 'vision'. But, it looks like i might have a guitarist after all. More on the cream/hendrix vibe than say Sleep. But it works for me. Trying to set up jammy time.
Depends on the amount of “wankery” to me. I like talent and taste, not guitar masturbation. Less is often more for me. (Take that as you will.)I tend to think guitar solos are kinda filler.
Definitely depends on what you're after. If its doomy stuff, a simple solo can carry a section. Like Matt pike or iommi. Wasn't talking Eddie Van Halen or SRV blooze
The guitar player is in for a bit jammier thing, ala say Colour Haze. So yeah, for that some improv chops and ability to solo/jam are required. It might work, it might not. Hard to get a vibe from emails, but I have a bit of a fear hes a douche. Hope I'm wrong.
I had been looking for a straight ahead doom thing, but i love that old cream/hendrix/zep without a net approach too. Just trying to roll with it.
Also, my experience is that a guy/gal tells you right out of the gate that they 'only do rhythm' or 'don't solo' is usually code for 'I suck'. YMMV
