got to play on a pro stage this past weekend. amazing how much better the sound was... and monitors that actually work. got paid well, fed and hotel. large crowd (maybe 400ish) and a moshpit even. it was pretty rad.

I've been wanting to take this photo for a while...
If I weren't so lazy, I'd take a picture of my mini practice stack in front of the wife's minivan so you could effectively compare and contrast.
may get a high paying teaching job in the fall if everything goes well, the noisey drone band wants to end our hiatus and i want to get an L1000 some day if the cash starts flowing in again

The level of awesomeness in that photo is epic! Have you tried running any of em in stereo? I'd imagine doing a ric-o-sound would be killer.

Saw The Shelter People open up for The Sword last night. I'd not heard them until then. They were really good and made a hit by playing Train Kept A Rollin' as their closer (the show was in Boston).
Not sure anyone has brought up the new SLEEP album. Incredible geezer-esque soulful playing from Al of sleep. Sounds a ton like a P but it's a rick (I think).

It's always a Rick with him. But they can actually sound a lot more like P-basses than most people on this forum think they can.

Just ordered the alleva Coppolo vintage pickups for my 94 LB100 and I've been using the treble boost on the L2000. Like 50 said you've gotta switch the style up.....
People always compare them to Jazzes, but the sound I mostly use on mine is way more like a P-bass.
