Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

Despite what my previously owned list may look like, I generally only keep things that I use regularly.

I've got a couple basses, a live rig, a home rig, live pedalboard and home pedalboard. Nothing is too out of control, it's all nice stuff, but it's all stuff I use regularly.

I've been saying I want another synth since I've known my wife, but other things always take priority as that's mostly something fun to mess with...maybe this year will finally be the year I can pick up another one.

No, Bobby Ramone built the Forever 51/Tele p bass body. The jazz bass is a cheap jazz bass body I picked up from Guitar Fetish and sent it to JMac Jerimy to do the Gibson Thunderbird pickup routing for me.
Bobby is on FB and this is his store on ebay. I got Bobby's contacts if anyone ever needs them but you can shoot him a question through ebay too, that's what I did then he called me. Bobby is really a cool dude and great prices too boot.

Got it in trade, probably only had it for a week or so. Was not something I was ever intending on using in bongripper or anything, but it could do a cool droning tone you could play underneath. The actual sitar simulation I had no interest in, as I don't like high pitch tones generally. It could have been fun if I was still doing ambient music for some cool layers...but it's been more than a few years since I've actively done/recorded anything like that solo.

Cool, it's pretty fun to put something together, and the tru-oil made it so easy, and the little amount of tools you need to put a partscaster together is awesome. This electric screwdriver and a ten dollar set of quick change bits did all the drilling, so love this tool. The tools for soldering were cheap from harbor freight too. I got sticker shock at Warmoth, but unfinished prices aren't too bad. I had already bought the Allparts tele bass and was going to buy a Warmoth unfinished body for it, but they only do certain pickups routes and rounded heals. It was a no we don't have a body that will fit that neck but you can buy one of our necks kind of conversation we I talked to the Warmoth rep.

Seriously considering sealed cab(s). Like a 6x10 fender. Need to research more. Because Subaru Outback is the transport want somthing that will not take up the entire cabin in transport. Was hoping the 2x10 bag ends might work but not sure if they will cut it.

If you're referring to the current or previous version of the fender 6x10, those are ported.

Recent lurker finally say "Hi y'all". Stumbled across this thread looking for info on the legendary Bluebeard (Proud owner of 2 of'em. Lived close to Atomic Music for years), stayed for the camaraderie. Y'all are some cool folks. Started dabbling my ears in these waters, found so far i dig Torche and Earthless. I'm also on the hunt for another 215 thanks to you bastages :) I REALLY want a Dually, but I think the budget will admit a CL Peavey right now :P
