Been a while, but had one a few years ago. Nothing that great for me, though I admittedly have a love/hate relationship with 250s. I had hoped that the extra options in that would help me to love it. No luck. Now, that being said, if you're a fan of the 250, I see no reason why you wouldn’t love this pedal too.

Kevin Smith - I feel he is his own worst enemy. When he has something valid to say, it’s covered in such vulgarity that it just loses any credit to me. I think I agree with the messages of his films, but all I can really remember of the ones I’ve seen are egregious cursing ad nauseum, to the point that the words are meaningless.

And in reference to nerds - English Major/German Minor here, who also looooves board games. Wanna talk linguistics, Tolkien, etymologies of words, Beowulf, old English literature, or any number of other nerdy topics, hit me up. I’m actually likely least nerdy in the realm of bass/music, and most would say I’m fairly nerdy in that regard too.

I do love me some Tolkien though, I just wish I had more time to read. I've had Beren and Luthien waiting for me on my bookshelf but I just want some time set aside to read it.

If any of y'all enjoy History as much as I do you may like one of the required readings that I have for school RN called The Cheese and The Worms. It's a true story about a peasant in Italy who independently challenged the beliefs of the Catholic church. It's not as exciting as Tolkien but I think it's interesting.

I have read Music Theory for Dummies and its ok but I feel that Edly's Music Theory for Practical People is a much more concise and easy to understand book despite not looking like a serious book it very much is.

I also believe once you have a small baseline in theory this article is by far the most useful thing you may ever read about constructing & writing music.

Those books are all fantastic and Alastair Reynolds, Ian M Banks, & Peter F Hamilton are all great authors. I also really liked Wool by Hugh Howey a lot for modern Sci-Fi. Might I recommend a couple somewhat obscure classic Sci-Fi for people such as Norstrilia by Cordwainer Smith or Babel-17 by Samuel R. Delany.

I also forgot to mention that I absolutely love & very strongly recommend Barry Hughart's Chronicles of Master Li & Number 10 Ox which is set in mythological China and is about a wise man/scholar/bullshitter and his moronic but strong sidekick.

Edit: Ah! It's there. I was looking for "foxx" but it's now called the Eisenhower Fuzz.

I'm definitely a MTG nerd, though at this point I pretty much only play commander. My competitive days are behind me (though I still have the cards to build a legacy deck or two... might have stuff for modern as well but I haven't been following the meta so I have no idea what's good or not).

actually based on the beige ross distortion with an active EQ :)
I got to ask Mike from Yob about it after a show once (it's his signature pedal) , he's a real down to earth guy!
