I checked a few of her videos but she didn't seem to commit to teaching much. Like, her tutorial series has two videos from 2018 and that seemed to be it for that series. That said her approach seemed to be more anecdotal i.e. telling the audience what she does personally and how she arrived at those habits, instead of telling the audience what to do. And I think that's really useful put in relation to more pedagogy-oriented teachers. Someone else I found really good is Jonathan Humphries!

that's true. I liked her videos to find out about gear that would work with a bowed instrument and heavier music. There aren't that many EUB effects videos :)

I can do a pretty good meatwad voice.

So yesterday, I got to the practice space a little early. I was heading out of the bathroom, back towards our room. At the end of the hall, a room door was open and a guy was packing stuff up. I eyeballed a Peavey Standard head [exactly like the one I have]. I had made eye contact, so to be friendly I said, "hey, cool old Peavey head, I have just like it in my room down the hall."
"You want it?"
(I'm thinking, ok the guy is going to try to sell it to me. I don't need to spend money on another amp....)
"Well, uh..."
"You can have it. I was just going to throw it away [!]. I don't even know if it works or not to be honest."
"You serious??"
"Yeah, man."
"I'll take it. I don't care if it works or not. Thanks dude!"

Yes it works. Score!

I dig it. Nice clean boost built in, keeps the tuner out of my chain, and I like having momentary switching for my effects. I actually use it on a few different things. It's not a small enclosure, but it's really the center of my board & keeps things super clean.

I saw them on another board here and tracked them down. So...thanks, but I can't take full credit. They pop up on reverb occasionally.
