Any of you gamers played Farcry 3? Finally getting fed up with Fallout 3 and NV glitching out on me and saw Farcry 3 on sale for dirt cheap last night. I dug the second one despite its flaws, 3 seems to be head and shoulders above that one - at least according to reviews.

It's really fun, if it's cheap go for it. The second one was an epic open world begging for a better game to be put there.

I have to drive to my buddy's place to get his stuff, because his ex (same one that cheated on him and more than likely the reason he tried to numb himself) won't help, and his parents want it.12 hours in the car. Blah. But, he would have did it for me. shag me, he was going to be here in 3 weeks. This blows donkey ballz. I wish I could have hung out with him one more time.

Thanks dude. Here comes the water works. He was one of the coolest people ever. Very sociable, would stick up for people if others were talking poopie, really fun loving. What more can I say, he was my best friend.

I had a lot of fun with 2, but holy balls it got difficult toward the end - the constant respawning didn't help things either. Seems like the new one is little more balanced.

Man I was all excited till I read anise, don't think I could get down a cup of that taste.

I like the jam-band vibe, lots of good grooving, interesting bass work, and lots of guitar solos, which I dearly love. I really enjoy listening to Warren Haynes' guitar playing, although, the slide work does get boring pretty quick. These guys, and some of the other jam bands, in a roundabout way led me to heavy blues music, which led to more psychedelic guitar based music, which led me to stoner rock. And so here I am.

I agree, the bass playing has always been tasty, whether it was Woody or Andy Hess. The drumming and most of the guitar playing just drives me crazy. Every cliche blues lick throw some talkbox and repeat.

I haven't added anything to my Spotify thing in quite awhile, mainly because I haven't been using Spotify. I know Tony has a 2014 list set up though, and I've been meaning to check it out.

What stuff have you guys been listening to a lot that's come out recently?
I've been digging Monolord a bit. People are calling it the doom album of 2014, although it seems like a lot of Sleep/EW worship to me. Some cool stuff for sure though - http://monolord.bandcamp.com/

agreed about Monolord. It's good but nothing new. Not sure how many more Dopethrone copy cats I can listen to anymore.

The anise flavor isn't very strong - I hate anise and I don't mind the taste of that tea. You don't really drink it for the flavor anyway...

Man Hank 3 is playing in Norfolk tomorrow but the ol lady freaks out at anything remotely Country music sounding and I don't think any of my buddies would enjoy the music.

Would love to play some shows in the US and A. I've been looking into it and to do it legitamately seems complicated but it is mostly the travel expense that is the roadblock. Plus convincing the wives to allow it is difficult considering we all have kids under 2 years old.
