Pretty much the same here for the most part. But my void doesn't scream back. Is that better or worse? Is it less of a void if it screams back? Wouldn't that imply there's something else there, making it less void-like? The important questions... Oh, and I go between sci-fi and various history texts. Mostly history lately, but been meaning to re-read my old Star Wars Rogue Squadron books from childhood on a lark. We'll see how they hold up if/when I get to them.

Not exactly a lot to do with stoner or doom rock, rather some slightly western flavored slightly experimental instrumental alternative folk.

If you haven’t encountered him, you should check out William Tyler, your piece reminded me of his work. Just one or two vids won’t tell the entire story, but I’ll throw these out there…

Got the last gig of 2025 tomorrow. Then going to try to write/finish some new songs, long overdue at this point. Got one other gig, mid-January, but otherwise hibernating 'til spring.

Some new songs have been ready to work out with the drummer for awhile:

1 of which we play on the rare occasion we have time for a 13 minute jam (rare). There's 2 more 10+ minute prog-doom bass odysseys l. And a song which might end up like early Santana meets Sabbath's "The Wizard".

Maybe an acoustic number, because why not, we do what we want. Lol. A stompy Zeppelin-esque thing that might survive to songhood. And a vague idea to write a faster chuggier Maiden/Sword like thing.

So it goes.
