Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

My neighbors an Alaskan lady whose some kind of professor. She won't mow her grass at all and it's a $500 fine. I think I need to go offer her my $25 bi weekly service? Or what's a good price to charge a lazy lady who could be faced with heavy fines?
Depends on how big the yard is. Maybe throw on some pants over that banana hammock you strolled out to the mail box in before you go over and offer to mow her turf.

I think you've just been enslaved.

Kidding. I'd ask for a raise, my professor urges us to if we get the inkling (just and fair inkling). Maybe they avoid them to keep costs down and expect you to say something.
I don't beg. Ever for anything.
If they aren't offering I'm working for the wrong people. Plain and simple.
I am not a greedy person so small tokens go a long ways with me.

Package...chuckles. Good wenches make good neighbors.

Lol at my old place my neighbor to one side was always getting male suitors who came to my door on accident. idk if she was a part time pro or what because they were always different and consistently at the wrong door and never stayed long. They all looked surprised as poopie to see a pretty tall white dude, instead of a squat black girl with a massive fro that's for sure.

I guess it's in how you do it and how you view it.

All I know is my professor has been and is a chief marketing exec for several massive international companies that we all probably frequent weekly if not daily for some.

But yea if the boss dudes a dick and getting all mad that's just lame as hell. Does he not get to go home or something if your still in the field?

Everything in life is a matter of perspective. I have no qualms negotiating a better position. To ask for money is to admit you are a lacking. From my perspective that is weakness.
I'm sure whatever company your instructor works for pays him too much. I have almost zero respect for executives of any sort. Contemporary corporate pay structure is appalling.

I saw a documentary about them and the best part was they asked some people in Appalachia if they knew what a melungeon was and the one person said you mean like a Bigfoot, priceless

Huh according to Wikipedia they came from colonial slave plantations in Virginia and the Carolinas. My family was granted land in the Carolina's by the king of England and we had plantations...And one of their common surnames is my surname.

Maybe my ancestors helped create them lol.
