Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

This biggest difference is the lack of rules on the left hand versus right hand path.

Eh.... Look at the leaders of the "right hand path". Lots of them make up those rules as they go, choose which ones to enforce, and generally practice a "do as I say, not as I do" mentality.

You tell me which is worse. I choose an honest enemy over a false friend every time.

Yep. Left hand path, shag the world. Be yourself, live for yourself and what's important to you, your self conscious is usually right about the situations you encounter. And, I don't even need a book to tell me that. Damn, I'm a learned specimen...

Al Jourgensen, presumably, since mbelue posted a Ministry video. I liked Ministry back in the 90's, Al has gotten weird though. He took the Dee Snider path to trying to stay counter culture and just made himself look freaky.

Traynor yba-1 any users or insight on one?

They're awesome if you love dirty tube tone, without going all the way into ripping distortion. I love mine, it's my favorite amp I've ever owned. It does not do clean and I do not care. Turned to about 1 or 2 on the volume through a 810, they sound awesome. I used mine with that kind of setup and my RAT for my tone on the last Mental Waste album and it was killer.

Welp, just got out of the doctor's office, went in to have chunks of my skin surround my biopsies removed. So now I look like the hunch back of Notre Dame and will have stitches for the next two weeks. Then I have them removed, and have more chunks of skin removed. Bluuuugggg. Downside is I'm not allowed to lift more than 20 lbs and I work construction. Upside it it was on my right shoulder and lower left back, so I can still strap on a bass.

And it'll match the vulcan!!

Speaking of which, when are you gonna sell me it?

poopie my girlfriend won't even let me use it lol, shes been going riff crazy
Since grandpa Vulcan came to town.
Although my guitarist is about to land a 5150 full stack might be time to build a immovable wall of Peavey's. I like these peavey 2x15 because their pretty common I feel like I'll be able to find matching ones easily especially because their all so much peavey poopie on the Michigan craiglists, speaking of which I'll you know if I find anything I think you might like.

Hell, update it with a speakon while you are in there. Tell him you will give him $70 because you dont want his drivers.

poopie I'll give speak on a shot, I've never tried it but I heard its more stable for amps over 500 watts which is solid because most of my amp are, and I tried to see if I could just buy the cab without speakers and was like no way lol, might stick one of those black widows in the bottom of my old Ampeg 15410 see how it sounds, I believe when I bought it the owner had one in there and sounded pretty decent. Might be able to fangdangle two cabs for 80 bucks? Not a bad deal. Also if I don't end up using that Randall because I like the porting on peavey its no money lost because I found that thing in the hallway at my jam loft for free lol.
