Yep.

Stickers coming off momentarily. It plays like butta.

to sort of elaborate on tube recto vs ss recto. All tube amps experience sag (voltage rails dropping in voltage under load) when you go from silence to hitting a note. Tube rectos have significantly more sag then an SS recto due to the non-linear conduction of the rectifier tube (acts like a series resistor on the voltage rail coming out of the recto). When the amp sags, the power level drops down a bit and all the voltages on the tubes will also sag in response and thus it "browns" out a bit. People who dont like sag tend to think of it as sounding sluggish.

I like the natural finish! So what's the story behind the price?
Hippies unloading everything before they move to New Mexico. I met "the wife", as he was out. She said she didn't know anything about it. I might email him to see what history might be behind it. Based on CL ad, not sure he knows. Here's some pron:

Small crack near neck pocket. Seems stable enough. Could be why strings are not completely aligned with pups.

A little bit of play wear on fretboard. Very Fenderesque neck, looks and feel. Weight is relatively light. I might change pick guard to the black one I had. Looks like mod may be needed with the 21 fret neck.

Besides some dings, this bass was taken care of.

That looks like a finish crack so no worries. Also seems like a parts bass but not that the parts are not higher end mij parts. The neck pocket in the "finish crack" pics" looks like the body and neck were not as of same manufacture. My nerdy a$$ would have stripped it down by now :)
I probably will after kids go down. I do not think this neck came with this bass. Warmoth makes a 21 fret. I think mighty mite did too. I'm all anxious now. Sadly, no amp to try it with...
