Gotta run over to the post office. Someone in Arkansas bought 3 digipaks and I gotta send one to Germany, so that's fun!
Where is our favorite ginger?

That's the thing then I'm paying out the nose and learning nothingI wish I lived closer to an educated helpful doomer or TB'er.
There was a guy at my high school I always had classes with and related friends. One day he sits next to me and is like you know we have classes together and the friends same friends, what's up. We talk a bit and he randomly gets quiet and segues into this story about how he's a sexual offender til 18 cause he accidentally grabbed a girl. The story was too unnecessary and the details shaky and ended in don't say anything which made me wonder how I would have if he just didn't say anything.
Later I noticed any girl he approached he always grabbed them close with both arms and they'd struggle. Then one day he grabbed my dick at random and I realized this dudes just some crazy toucher. He's lucky I had a bee like calm to the grabbin' less passive texans would have probably caused him some hurting.
Creme dimarzio model P ordered for the roadstar. 500k or 1 meg Audio pots?
500.
Are we the only ones awake?
So, I'm looking at options for DIY recording, since everything else fell through. My buddy has a 24 channel board. Got the Behringer DI on the board (sansamp clone). Thinking of SM57 in combo with DI for maximum coverage. Brought delay home. Tightened up loose pot. Won't get to run it til Friday. Fingers crossed that's it. None of the soldering looks out of place. Where could I get max dollar for digitech synth? eBay fees suck
All it took it took in Florida, was an unhappy parent... I know one dude that went to my high school that had a statutory charge because of a concerned mother... He's now a "sex offender" for doing the thing we all did with high school girlfriends.

I only had 3 beers. I didn't notice much difference between straight to the jack and 250k pots so I kinda think it's more to do with hi-fi rigs and noticing more high end with larger value pots. Also what did the road star have for a pup? I know some ibanez had dimarzio clones and knockoffs for a while
yeah unless its actual children (kids, not 17 year old girls) involved i tend to want as much info as possible before throwing around the crazy accusations. i mean hell i was dating a girl when i was 18 and she was 15 in highschool, turns out we got married and have two kids and have been together almost 14 years, but technically i was a "pedophile" for a few months my senior year of highschool.
actually it was a running joke that my wife and her mom were gonna turn me into the cops if i ever broke her heart, thank god i didnt! lol
Make Max buy it.
To me the key is audio pots, the standard fender tone knob is a 250k log pot. A pair of 500k audio will allow for full taper of the tone and volume no jumps. Also they are old and nasty and I don't care about vintage pots.
As for the pickup research says it's an ibanez sp-4, not sure really. It looks like a dimarzio clone, but Corey's review was that it's was microphonic, woody and boomy. In addition it too was filthy as heck and the foam and metal shield bottoms have all separated and it's kindly weirdly wired all together. So, I figured I'd get something working, and it came in creme and Corey had one in his p bass tuned to bead he used in his dually GK clip for me (which I liked).
In the meantime I can clean up the old pickups and pots and rewire the harness and compare.
Also need to shield like 2-3 bass cavities what's the best option? I hated the copper tape just got a ton of cuts. I am thinking a paint.
I'm a big fan of the stew mac paint. It's "pricy" but it's actually the better deal for cost vs. quantity. I also strip back wire and tape them in cavities to make sure all grounds and shielding is connected. I went the extra mile and stripped like 2 inches of wire them taped it to the cavity with electrical tape after 3 coats of shielding paint was applied and dried. It's like a 4 day process to properly shield a bass with paint. The end result was a DEAD quiet bass.
