I had that same mustang. It had a band sticker on the back and I never took it off and when I went to sell it I made mention of it. Then the guy who owned it before me contacted me and bought it back.

I had the little brother of the AMP 420, I think. I know I had an AMP for like 2 weeks. Should have kept it. Could use it right now.

Anyone have experience with tubes that use kt-120? Do they have any outstanding characteristics or can they be compared to any other tube?

Yeah, the Hondo sounds fantastic, and it's fine for sitting around the house playing, but standing/actually practicing with it was quite uncomfortable. I'm looking around for a cheap but cool P-bass to swap the pickup into. So I can keep the awesome dimarzio, but play it in something I'm much more comfortable with.

Yeah the ergonomics on those are a big challenge. Damn they sound huge though.
