Terrible flash flooding here in the Detroit area, my girlfriend got stuck on the freeway and is just now getting home after getting out of work 6 hours ago, local band against the grain's jam spot got flood out and it destroyed all there equipment right before they were gonna leave for tour.
Way she goes boys.
Ouch. Total hydro-lock? That's a spendy fix.tell me about it. Gear is all good. But managed to seize my engine 25 feet from my house, in 3 feet of water that didn't look that deep....
Or some serious gear Tetris in a bandmate's vehicle.So... sounds like there is going to be some show openings in Detroit?

Whew, took awhile to catch up.
1. Guardians of the Galaxy was freaking amazing.
2. Flats: I used Chromes exclusively for several years. Absolutely love those strings. Still have them on my 75 P and they sound incredible on there.
3. The Book of Life looks awesome. Animated Guillermo del Toro movie about dead spirits? Yes please.
4. I think image and look can be a big part of any music genre, and is becoming increasingly important/influential in our genre as it grows in popularity. I don't care if a band looks a certain way, but if people start thinking it influences the integrity of their music, **** that noise. There's a huge flavor of the month thing going on in stoner/doom right now with a bunch of labels releasing tailor made bands that look and sound like that the label thinks they should. Not down with that. The label we're working with doesn't give a **** about how we look, they care about how our music sounds, and that's how it should be.
5. Car accident has put ordering the HI-TONE on the back burner, and is making me reconsider as well. I think for now I'm going to pursue cheaper tube options to get a better idea of exactly what I'm looking for. Need to see how some of the more popular amps work with the Dually. Might just grab an SVT-CL or something at this point.
That reminds me of this preview I saw recently.
You can call me a dork but, Dia de Los Muertos as presented by Guillermo de Toro has to kick ass.
Not sure yet, leaving town to visit the wife's family in North Dakota tomorrow. Her friends husband is going to come look at it... But I fear it's hydro lock.Ouch. Total hydro-lock? That's a spendy fix.
