A touch. I like the aggressive sound. Costs out in sustain though.

Seems to me like this style of music would benefit from a higher action, with all the long droning notes.

I get a fair bit but it gets drowned out in the band mix so I just roll with it. But even so, I can tolerate a fair bit of buzz. I like the nasty edginess.

When I pl;ay with a light touch like I should, there's little, but I'm pretty heavy-handed with plucking so I'm getting some clank.

Last night was NPD! Solidgoldfx Beta Bass Drive. I was going to get another Way Huge Pork Loin but this has more gain and much better tone. Finally found my always on/overdrive pedal. Goes from Motown to pushed tube amp, very deep and low middy, not a bright trebly overdrive at all. The SSBS Mini was too grindy and biasy for me, this is much better for what I like. Pretty sweet on guitar too. I may have to get the Zeta Drive now for guitar LOL.

I'm exactly the same - heavy handed when I pluck. Bad technique, sure, but I dig it.

I even highlighted it! I think someone knew what he was doing and painted it a crack it friendly color so the spooge stains would blend in when you turn it on and hear it for the first time...

I usually tolerate a fair amount of clank - it doesn't really come through in a band mix. The last band had BIG LONG SUSTAINED NOTES which required me to try to get rid of as much of that as possible.

If you're gonna move the Mini on, I may be interested in taking it off your hands, hit me up if/when you do decide to get rid of it.

My wife and have been on a big "Futurama" kick lately. I forgot how good it was. She's a total Zoidberg nut. Consequently, I will frequently put my hands in the air, simulating the claws, and do the "Woopwoopwoop" around the house.
Just thought I'd share that little factoid.
