Easily my favorite episode is when Zoidberg has to go back to his planet to mate. Even better with all the nods toward the original Star Trek episode where Spock has to do the same.

Yeah same for me, haven't stumbled on any super good stuff in a while, kind of like when you run out of good stuff on Netflix Instant to watch LOL. I think I have listened to this genre long enough now that I am starting to getting picky. I was so happy to stumble on the genre for guitar, bass, and drum oriented music but lately I'm a little tired of the guitar minor pentatonic noodling and love when I stumble on the trickier/weirder stuff in the larger genre. Plus I can only listen to bandcamp at work and I guess some of the bands are too big for that now. So I need to buy some stuff and download it, and the laziness factor gets involved in that LOL.

It's kinda unrealistic but I always liked when bender goes to the island of misfit robots.
It's kinda true, no technology stays perfect we are always improving so the first AI robots are going to be sentient and forgotten or repurposed/recycled.
The Twinemen CD I got has made me look at Morphine for really the first time, so I'm digging that for newness.
I do like the metal strips. I just hate pastel colors. I love the 400 series metal knobs those and sexy creatures.
I know!? I just wish it went to 8 ohms, it's 4-2 ohms and my alphabass does that already, I need an 8 ohm stable head SS or tube that's cheap and gets dirty or somewhat dirty or takes pedals well.
There's also an epiphone valve jr. With matching cab, that I can't help but wonder if any part of that setup would make a good vinyl setup? It certainly fits my living room corner setup.
You're fine using a higher impedance cab with an amp rated only for 4-2 ohms, just don't use a lower impedance load than what the amp is rated for.
As far as the vinyl setup - just go to some thrift stores (or check CL), find an old receiver with a phono input and a pair of old stereo speakers. It will sound much better than any instrument amp/speaker setup. Just like you wouldn't plug a bass into a stereo system, you don't want to plug a record player into any instrument amp.
Oh yeah, brain farted there - got pro audio power amps on the brain. Listen to mr CL400.
Meh, I can't get into them. All I can think is Wino riff, Neurosis riff, Om riff repeat. I just tried again made it a few minutes haha.
I'm thinking I need something heavy-ish, but jammy, trippy, progy. I'm a picky b*tch right now. I'm sure nothing will satisfy. I tried some old school hip hop already, that's out too.
If I could find a heavy version of 72-74 Grateful Dead, that would be sick.

I'd be doing a cheap head that's solid state between 100-500 watts at 8 ohms. Or a 100 watt tube head.
Selling the mb500 and the v3 keeping the alphabass and Demeter/power amp setup, but they both are more clean power and as mentioned alpha won't do 8 ohms.
The UD would feed into the Demeter or alphabass, and the Bluebeard or fabtone into the hypothetical amp to come.
Rockmaster guy said he's looking for similar trades but quieter stuff. I offered him my crate 50 watt tube combo we'll see if he bites. No real reason to do this trade, but I did only pay $50 for the crate.
