I am really pretty much just talking crap when I say autos are less than manuals. As CL400 said, there are awesome autos out there. Hell, even the domestic autos aren't bad at all. I prefer to drive a manual, because it's what I enjoy. I'd be perfectly content to drive a Fusion like Laz's with an auto, simply because it's a nice peppy sedan that's designed to be just that.
Now, if I was strapped in to a WRX, I'd definitely want the manual.

2015 is the first year they're making the WRX with an available auto transmission. Early reports are that the CVT absolutely kicks ass. Driving an auto WRX almost seems like sacrilege but they've apparently done an awesome job with it.
Hmmm...seems to me that Porsche would be pretty exclusive with their transmissions. Not saying it's not the same one, could be, I haven't looked into it.

Yeah, I'm bored as poopie with car talk too. No new pedals, but I ordered the black PG, strap locks, and a bridge cover for the Aria P-bass. Once those are all in, gonna take it to a tech and have him swap the Hondo and Aria's pickups and set everything up.
Pretty stoked.

I'm pretty excited to see how that turns out, just because I love that combination of options on a P.
I'm still toying around with what body finish to get on my Carvin PB. It's either going to be black/black/maple or burst/black/maple. My two favorite body/pickguard/board combinations.

Black/White/Rosewood MIM Precision, Black/Black/Maple SBMM Ray34CA, Walnut/Ebony Drake Custom. I've also got my parts and DIY body that's still in pieces that's Black/Black/Maple. The Carvin SB4000 that I just sold was 3 tone sunburst/black/maple.

I'd go for sunburst black maple then, since you don't have one....granted you just sold one, but now you can have another one.
