unfortunately, the kooks have more than one very solid point.. too bad they are buried within alot of kookery.
but there are a number of things that are beyond "unanswered questions".
btw.. on strings: Im kinda surpised you all hate GHS so much. Ive used em for years on my Stingray and nothing matched the tone I got from it with them. Plus theyve lasted forever and the one time I had a bad string in a decade GHS sent me a whole new free pack. I havent tried them on a passive jazz yet, and I expect I wouldnt like them as much in that setting. Do all you non-GHS guys use passive basses?
Ugh, the day keeps dragging.
Plus side - the old landlord just emailed to get our address so they can mail us the deposit check. We had pretty much written that off (we still did a good job cleaning, but we didn't knock ourselves out) So it'll be nice to get something back.
Well, sometimes. Usually not at work though. Which is where I post mostly from.I realized today I have GHS on my Jazz Deluxe. I really like em on it and I play it in passive alot. I do like the DAddarios more. They seem a little more alive with a better fundamental.
Im starting to think some of you are just in drag!

I got Micah a fart piano at Wallyworld. You can change from, fart, to belch, to wretch! I guess fart pianos are like octave pedals, you can't play chords on them.Found a Jaymar toy piano from 1953 at the thrift store down the street while I was at lunch. Some of the keys don't sound, so I'll crack 'er open later and see if I can repair it$10 score!
Glam!?!You guys are going Glam on me!! I knew it was too good to last.:***:
