Woke up early, cut down a 60 foot maple with my dad. Cut it all in to logs and moved it to dry for splitting next year. Had lunch, then went to my buddies to help him smash and remove six sections of sidewalk. Time for many beers, and sleep.

I thought it sounded pretty good. The overdrive from the amp is a little thin/brittle sounding. I assume that was preamp distortion. I like the clean tones though.
I spent too much time fixing roofs when I lived on the gulf coast. Roofing is one job I hate with a passion, so I've got mucho respect for anyone willing to do it.
Tuned to bead with my bronco and it's got some sloppy floppy, but I can accommodate with my fingers, maybe do a little setup work if I decide to maintain it.
Is there a way to use my bronco with one pickup and have two jacks out? But not cut the signal in half?
Reason being is it sounds amazing as is and I have a switch on it that puts a lpf cap into the mix and dubs up the signal and I love that sound. But I also like the straight signal without that. So if I could get both tones at once I'd get that low thick tone and the full range one. Two pedal chains, Mostly harmless, power amp, two cabs.

Not with a passive bass and passive tone control (lpf cap). Any change in impedance (resistance) will change how the tone circuit works and interacts. Try a 3'cord instead of a 20footer. Sounds different to me.
Sadness... Hmm what about a boss LS pedal thing then on one side have a mini box with two jacks and that same cap on it. So I'd get balanced output to both sides and blend then also get that cap in the circuit.
An active buffer of any sort will change the way the capacitor works. A blender is an active buffer/line mixer.
The passive tone circuit on an active bass or buffered circuit has been tried allot, I'm not sure anyone has found a way to get it to sound the same.
Try a search, it comes up here periodically.
I recommend an active ABY and use some sort of variable crossover on one output. Using a shallow slope and sweeping the crossover frequency the low-pass output might satisfy what you want. Probably still be too sharp a cutoff for you and you won't get any interaction.
Could get you close though.

But the great great news is I just found out la Bella makes low B for short and medium scales now!!! Best news Ever for me. And since you saved me money even better.

Here's a thread discussing it and bassstringsonline let's you make custom sets as it says. I'll probably call them Monday if I can and pester everything out of them I can to get all the info I can.
