Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

askrere, not much to do about fixing a stripped screw head, but you might want to try a screwdriver with a more blunt tip. Either that or file it down a bit. Sometimes screwdrivers with very sharp tips just destroy small zinc/pot metal screws. If you can find a suitable replacement type/size at a local hardware store, might want to consider getting a stainless steel one that's a bit more sturdy.

I'd take that if I could source a good one.

Find a screw extractor set with small sizes. Or if you have a needle file make a slot across it for a flathead screwdriver to remove it.

I think I have needle files, they are files and small?

If I'm being honest, I almost never pay attention to lyrics anymore. With a few exceptions, with bands where the vocals are very up front and provide the hook to the song.

Same here, I want to hear the music more than the lyrics, unless the singer has a stellar voice or it is a band built around lyrics which is more in other genres. I kind of dig how some singers just don't use words but kind of sing the riff like in Color Haze and the Thom Yorke thing he does, like that, then it is less blanket covering of the actual music going on.

Gahhh... I missed the sale. Signed up for notification and didn't pay attention to that email till it was too late. Awesome print.
Thanks!
I set my alarm so I wouldn't miss it, figured they would sell out pretty quick. Now I just need to get it framed among with a bunch of other stuff.

I just picked this print up at the OM show tonight.

BTW....OM was goood, so were the edibles before the show. :)

Ok, so I just messed around with one of the new Fender Rumble heads - the 500 watter. You know what? The built-in OD sounds pretty good. A big step up from the previous rumbles, anyway.

i was think about one of these that I could leave at our drummers place for the jawbreaker-ish punk rock band I'm in. He has a pretty good pa so I went with a VT bass di instead and so far am impressed.
