Thinking about snagging one of these up, I currently have no practice amp at home and these sound pretty killer, I seen that Ampeg has a new line of combos out to under the name version 3 as well, It has a few more options but I'm accustom to the fender tone now so I figure I should just roll with it.

I just played through the 500W head version last week, thought it sounded great and the onboard OD was pretty damn good.

Got my jaguar, weird neck has like no finish so I think I'll tru oil it per joes style.

Ordered a heater for this winter, next pay bills and order strings with left over.

Working on an homemade modular light survival/backpacking/camping/hiking setup. PVC frame I think unless I find a better idea.

That telecaster guitar neck I had, had very little finish on it. I was able to darken up the finish with a couple of coats of tru oil then some tru oil wax. I wasn't sure it would work because there was a light finish on it but it still made it look and feel better.

Well I sold the loaded body of the Forever bass on ebay last night, it sold in a few hours, which was awesome as you never know if you get stuck with a parts build or not. I am just not a mudbucker guy or a single coil p bass guy I guess. More excited for the Jazzbird build anyway. Went to the town over from the college I went to, so it stayed a PA person's bass LOL.

Diddled the 200 watt head and the 15 inch combo over the weekend at Sam Ash, FN things sounded great and not pricey either.

Well, too much work on my hands. It's some kind of hell week, everyone wants me to translate for them. The joys of being a freelancer, I guess.
The good thing is, that Orange Terror Bass 500 head I've been gassing for some time now, it might happen sooner than I thought
Oh, and two band practices this week which I should probably cancel, but I'd rather not sleep than do that. And seeing Kadavar tonight. Hope I won't get wasted, I kinda can't...

LOL, it's a damned if you do or don't kind of thing, you want me to listen or to talk LOL. She's a good gal it's just her family curse they will take your ears off if you aren't careful LOL. Her father is an attention freak like I never saw a man act like a woman in that aspect in my whole life, so she was doomed from the start or I was LOL. All day working in a team and taking calls you get tired of talking by the time you come home and feel like the couple in Best in Show, we both like soup, we can talk or not talk for hours on end LOL.
Now if she wore this I would be glad to talk to her about the subject over and over again.

Took the Bluebeard and grey stache to practice last night to A/B them. Still like the stache better. Just when I thought I would use the Bluebeard on bass..... Nope.

Both of them play same night here, and our bro band Blighter is opening. Blighter is the local death doom band. They play their style very well.

I think what we play out currently, borders more on the stoner rock side of things. Like Red Fang or Black Pyramid.

The new stuff we are writing is more befitting of what I call our music, southern fried mountain sludge.

Haha, we are all over the place...both bands for this show are super heavy and we have droney keyboards and some pop-pelican type riffs followed by some random heavy stuff. We belong everywhere and no where
