Will do! It will be a long slow grind with job, kids, etc. I will be happy if I power it on before Christmas and it works before 2015. Just laying out all the components right. I'm trying to fit it into a significantly smaller chassis than a real 2000s. I'm going to follow the Sunn layout as much as possible but I will have to move things around a bit. I'll be putting in separate bias supplies for each pair of power tubes as well. I think that will prove worthwhile as it's a bit cheaper and easier to scrounge up two matched pairs of big tubes instead of one matched quad.

Yeah my projects are on the same time schedule. The only thing that got me motivated on the Jazzbird is I have no bridge pup on the Forever bass and miss the grind. Third motorcycle season just passed by on the motorcycle parked in my back yard that only needs the throttle cable hooked back up, carbs synched, fluids flushed, and bolted back up...somed ay I will do that, some day LOL.
Yay I think I found a new tube amp tech that isn't completely up to his eye balls in broken amps, time to drop off the peavey musician 400 and the peavey 5150! Maybe even the Mesa dual Rect if my guitarist willing to go in on the costs. Also my rhythm guitar is works at fabrication shop and is constantly making road cases for car parts and other poopie so we figured we should take advantage of they free materials and make some for our heads, which will be tight because my Bassman is looking crispy as hell and I'd like to keep it that way.
Missed a chance to play with EyeHateGod next week...eff. Get to open for Today is the Day the week later, so fvck yeH!
Both of them play same night here, and our bro band Blighter is opening. Blighter is the local death doom band. They play their style very well.
I think what we play out currently, borders more on the stoner rock side of things. Like Red Fang or Black Pyramid.
The new stuff we are writing is more befitting of what I call our music, southern fried mountain sludge.

So this thing is cool...
It's some old telephone thingymabob, that the guy that did the acid light show at the VEGA CD release converted into a tiny guitar combo. It doesn't do clean at all, just sputtery fuzzed out SS goodness. This will be awesome for recording. I already know where im gonna use it on the Galactic hatchet full length after this first split with Serpent Lung. Stay tuned for a quick demo.

Slow and steady with a small pair of Tin snips. SLOW AND STEADY. You can do this. It will be worth it.

Oh yes... Have to make some more runs with the AE HSD... Cool so far and the clean blend is a sick addition.

Yeah for full on mute. Tuning I usually need to turn off fuzz.
This setup will be functional. Stacking the Gamma Drive and BDPG work well together for a ballsy low grind. But depending on the room it may be a little boomy, or I can just run one or the other. Just get gains leveled out and good to go. Kinda quick EQ flip like.
With the BB and or HSD I have a some options depending on how the mix is working. Have been on the HS kick lately so really interested how it sounds with the VT power amp rig. Especially since the clean blend on the HSD.
Unholy is my only fun pedal at the moment. Will be working some doom riffs into our set list to break things up. Should be a useful tool in the long run.

Got my jaguar, weird neck has like no finish so I think I'll tru oil it per joes style.
Ordered a heater for this winter, next pay bills and order strings with left over.
Working on an homemade modular light survival/backpacking/camping/hiking setup. PVC frame I think unless I find a better idea.

Falling fast out of love with the fiesta jazz. Thinking of parting it out. Haven't really put a bunch of time on it till recently with this new project and I'm not digging it. Sounds cool but doesn't feel right.
