Man I have LED gas, it's pricy, but they have these kits to outfit your rooms with LED smart bulbs that you can control with your phone or wireless wall switch. Then you can program them all sorts of ways. Go from brightly lit workspace to dimly lit warm relaxing time to multi color strobe party in a flash.

Hey guys, a kid trying to play stoner rock/metal in Michigan here.

I bought my first head Peavey Firebass 700 and for the cab, I got 70's Earth Sound Research cab from my friend, but the speakers are blown up.

Cab's dimension is 39'' x 23.5'' x 15''. Old speakers have nothing but "BG15" and serial numbers, but they are 15'' speaker. (I don't know about their ohms...)

I'm trying to get warm, round, and full tone like Geezer Butler's in Master of Reality or Orchid's Mouths of Madness. Can you guys recommend me good speakers?

Btw, I see some people using PA speakers instead of bass speakers for their cabs. Is it okay to use those, because I heard that it makes some "farting noise" when it gets too loud? Invalid Link Removed

Whats up DOOM room? Been scarce lately... Actually having to work at work. Starting in November at the shaker we are having a theme every night of the week so I have been in music organizational purgatory. Dividing some 20K songs in to 80's, 90's and such. Doing disco on Saturdays, we didn't have a lot so I had to acquire enough to not be to repetitive. One thing about my job is it gets me to listen to a lot of music I never would on my own... and the boobs are pretty sweet. Cool part is I get to wear concert shirts on the rock night. Uncool part is my boss want's me to dress disco on the disco night... I don't even know what that means but I'll figure something out. Later gentlemen.

Worked till 3 AM yersterday, it's noon here now, up at 8 and working since then. Guys renovating my block been drilling since early morning, doesn't help much in my work.

I think we got too loud as our phone apps fart out on us from some time.
