Poured down rain all night, we had a big bowl of candy and not a single trick-or-treater. Bummer, but my Fairfield Barbershop came in and our baby was being all smiley, laughing and adorable in a weird bat costume/hoodie my wife put him in, while we watched the Canadian horror anthology show Darknet on Netflix. Not really scary, but creepy and cool, I enjoyed it. Hope everyone had fun and safe nights.

We went out trick or treating. It was COLD, but Thor was ready to fight the ice giants, and Michelangelo asked for pizza at every house.

So with this Chapman stick, it uses a split stereo cable to go into two different inputs on amps, one for the bass side, one for the "melody" side. Any of you guys have any pedal/whatever suggestions for me as a way to run into one amp only?
I could maybe run into my space echo stereo inputs... wait... I think I then need to do two outputs from that....
Hmmm...

this is literally what i do, i run into separate channels on my two channel amps with ric-o-sound. bluebeard on the neck DOD 250 on the bridge, then on the amp i boost the bass/cut treble on neck and boost treble/cut bass on bridge.

i am unsure whether the space echo has that functionality. you may want to look at the LS-2 as i am fairly sure it can do that.

Does your amp have a passive and active input? On most most amps that do, you can plug into both and it makes both inputs somewhere in the middle of active and passive.

Govt Mule was pretty good, first set was a little too jam-band-ish for my tastes, but they brought out their big amps for a set of Neil Young and Crazy Horse covers - including two deep cuts from On the Beach, which is one of my all time favorite albums.

The draw back is its not generally mixed very well. Your more powerful pickup will be louder if you go into the same preamp. Mixing would have to be done on the instrument.

Well, I bought a used Fairfield Barbershop. I've read good things about them for years and it was a top contender for a low-medium gain overdrive when I ended up getting my EBS Multidrive. I don't care for it at all. It's not bad, it just does absolutely nothing for me, on guitar either. I like the subtle gain, compression and tubbiness my EBS adds for a kind of foundation tone when I'm not using a tube amp and want more of that slightly pushed tube amp sound. The Barbershop doesn't really have any of that for me. It does have an asymmetrical clipping, bit of darkness and the sag control. So in a way it does get a pushed tube amp sort of sound but, purely subjectively, it's not the kind of tube sound that's to my taste. That's disappointing, I suppose I'll sell it immediately. I'm debating whether or not I should make some demo tracks of it for my Soundcloud first, but it really just doesn't inspire me and it's kind of a bummer. I know intellectually it's a well designed and excellent pedal, just not to my personal taste (apparently much to the likely of a lot of others though, by the general consensus). If anyone on here wants it before I put it up in the classifieds, shoot me a pm.

I swear...I'll never be happy. My Bluebeard which was synthy and square-wavey with my old 8x10 is now throaty and visceral my new Mesa 2x15.

My Rat which was thunderous with my 8x10 is limp with my 2x15.

I received all the parts to build my Super Rat but they forgot the enclosure. Uggg!!!!!!

But now...I want to build a new Muff instead!!!

Yeah, that may be true. I also just have a certain specific taste for tube amps, that don't seem to be shared by most of the tube amp lovers of TB. I feel like most people online who talk about tube breakup tone are thinking of something totally different than I am.
