I'd run the sunn with the ampeg too in that case. You still have enough cabs right?
The Danelectro Fabtone is most likely a modified hm-2. It was modded to be even heavier, and costs very little.
Ampeg, you say cheap is a plus but you always seems to settle on a less than cheap option, but the fabtone is pure nasty, with more gain at zero than most pedals have at max...

Yep. Ampeg to 810 and Sunn to 215, if that loopmaster that I ordered ever shows up... You know I should have researched the company a little more before ordering, so the wait is definitely on me. I do find a lot of humor that when googling "loopmaster turn around times" I found a thread where the guy form loopmaster said that he was working on shortening those times from 3 months to 1 week while also asserting that he had times down to 2 to 3 weeks. This was in 2011. I ordered my pedal 2 months ago and the build hasn't begun yet. Makes me wish I ordered something more complicated than an ABY pedal. Might make the wait seem worth it.
Also came across A LOT of people posting to say that they ordered a Loopmaster only to sell it immediately because by the time they received it their rig had changed enough that they no longer needed it. This guy was a member of that forum. You would think he would take the hint. Oh well. Gotta get this amp properly serviced before I can run it live anyway.

I'm a fan of natural finishes w/ black pickguards and rosewood boards.
I went with giving each pickup in my bass individual output. Seemed less hassle and more to the point vs ABY.
Does dongwall have maple fretboards? Mmmmm
They both look cool, but I like the first one a little better. Mostly because I prefer the look of maple boards.
i think that's pretty badass right there. new school bass with old school finish. what would you change to?
edit: sorry missed the thumbnail. blacburst is hot too. i'm zero help here. my next (if custom) would be blackburst also, with natural binding.

If I could get the flat black stain finish their ABZs come with, I would. Not offered on the combustion. Part of me has always wanted a natural finish, but the black burst is sexy.

I really want Drake to make me a satin black instrument, something with texture and visible wood grain. He posted pictures on his facebook of a guitar he was refinishing and posted the satin black, before he had done a clear coat and it looked so damned cool. I have zero money right now though, so that's not going to be happening for a while.
