He's due in early August. I've got plenty of cool toys left...and plenty on the way. I'm just shuffling things around to optimize and fundraise for building projects.

If you're dating the daughter of someone you know, even casually and unintentionally, I'd bring it up eventually. Casually, don't blurt it out like a weirdo. Maybe just say you found out she was his daughter and you had a nice conversation with her over drinks and let him know she's a great girl or something. I dunno, I've never dated anyone related to anyone else I know, maybe you should hide that sh*t forever. I say spill it just because maybe she already has or will, don't wanna seem like you're playing games.

That is a cool/strange connection though, good story at least.

As far as dating people who are related to other people you know, I finger banged my best friend's older sister when I was in 7th grade. That's about the only experience I have with that. Sorry I couldn't be more insightful LOL.

I have a friend who was at a party and double teamed a girl with his friend, then subsequently dated that guys sister three years and the two are still great friends.

I think that's a solid friendship.

It is different when its someone's daughter/family member than someone in your circle of friends. I banged the hell out of my best friend's wife's best friend over the course of a week. On two seperate occasions, two years apart. I still run in to her from time to time in my social circle. A little while ago she showed up with another mutual friend, they were dating, but he didnt know my history with her. Us guys were out by the grill, and he started going into a "she wont do xxx, how do you think I can convince her to?" discusion.

I just smiled, and told him I had no problem getting her to do that about 50 times....
