Stoner/Doom Bassists Thread, Part 90: Maxed Out

You guys have some crazy boards. I generally just plug right into my amp. The dano board sees very little time in reality, it's too dirty for most things I play with people and sounds terrible at apartment volumes.

This V50 has two channels, boost and reverb so although it's not a bass amp it has what I need/want. I got the octave fuzz to go with this amp and only bothered twice to use it so far. It's sounding nice, just like my dano board and even at low volumes. But a good straight in amp tone is like 90% of what I'm about.

Not that the stuff all you guys play isn't damned impressive compared to what I do.

I love that all dano board.

Post a pic!

Well that was the most fun I've ever had playing live. I hope this venue sticks around. Great food, arcades, pinball, beer and atmosphere. We put close to 300 people through the door. That was the most money we've ever made in one night too. Our record release show in July is going to be awesome. The worst part is I don't ever want to play anywhere else again :)

Pelham, one is an expression, one is volume, one is a wah.

The expression goes to the expressionator which routes it to 3 controls. Tyler can explain where it goes from there.

Thanks guys, Ron's got it right. The expressionator controls delay time, feedback, and modulation amount for the moog.... I can control modulation rate with the to tempo switch. The board looks BiG, but really isn't that many "effects;" 3 dirt, wah, phase, delay.

I'm going put the Meatsmoke and my tuner on a pt-nano

Will have to later.

Here's what the Texas sun unleashed on me. With a quarter for scale.

It's at the base of my neck for reference.

That's awesome Sam, congrats. Never played in front of anything close to those numbers haha.

We have a new Supervoid track that I think we're going to throw up on Bandcamp probably tomorrow.

We also have some very big news that we can't announce yet... But hopefully soon :)

Graveyard, Kadavar, and late night Mexican food. Last night was good.

hahaha Believe it or not there is some decent Mex food up here. Not much but there is. I remember not long after first moving up here I went to the grocery store to get some tortillas and I couldnt find them so I ask one of the grocery monkeys and he was like "huh?!?", I said you know the things you make burritos with? He said OHHH you mean "Soft Wraps!". hahaha
